Carbon Fiber Square Rod / CFRP Square Bar
— Six‑Face Load Bearing · Zero Twist · Modular Lightweight Spine
1. Product Positioning
Manufactured from T700/T800 unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg in a 0°/90° cross‑ply layup, then wrapped with 3K twill or plain weave fabric and co‑cured via high‑temperature compression or pultrusion, these solid or hollow square rods deliver precise square cross‑sections. Compared to round rods, square rods naturally resist torsion, simplify alignment, and streamline assembly—making them the “linear backbone” for trusses, robotic arms, sports equipment, and drone frames.
2. Manufacturing Processes
- Pultrusion: Continuous lengths up to 3 m, straightness ≤ 0.3 mm/m, ideal for high‑volume standard sizes.
- Compression Molding: Lengths up to 1 m, dimensional accuracy ± 0.05 mm, suited for precision holes and inserts.
- Secondary Machining: CNC flattening, M3–M12 tapping, stainless‑steel insert riveting, laser logo engraving.
