3K Carbon Fiber Sheet/Laminate
3K Weave | Grade-A Gloss Finish | Quasi-Isotropic | All-Scenario Lightweight Solution

I. Product Definition

Made from high-strength PAN-based carbon fibers (T300/T700/T800 grade, 3,000 filaments per tow), our 3K carbon fiber sheet is a high-performance laminate impregnated with epoxy resin or high-temperature thermoplastics (such as PEEK or PPS). The material is hot-pressed and cured under 0.3–5 MPa at 120–180°C. The surface retains the iconic 3K twill or plain weave, offering both mechanical strength and aesthetic appeal. Internally, it features 0°/90°/±45° quasi-isotropic lay-up for balanced in-plane strength and stiffness.

II. Key Advantages

  • High Strength & Lightweight: Density of 1.55 g/cm³; tensile strength ranges from 3400 to 5200 MPa; specific strength is 5–7 times that of 7075-T6 aluminum.
  • Dimensional Stability: Coefficient of thermal expansion <1.5×10⁻⁶ /°C; rigidity maintained under 200°C.
  • Premium Surface Quality: 3K plain/twill weave + high-gloss UV coating; Grade-A mirror finish with no pinholes; suitable for exposed parts.
  • Durability: Salt spray resistance up to 1000 hours; resistant to acid and alkali (pH 3–11).
  • Machinability: CNC milling, drilling, tapping, and waterjet cutting without delamination or chipping.
